Anthony Barba

Antonio Barba is a successful entrepreneur and the CEO of Ozone Communications, a incubator company based in New York City.

After graduating from The Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy at the University at Albany with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Communications Anthony worked as a political strategist for local and Gubernatorial races in New York & Massachusetts. While working on the 1996 Presidential campaign Mr. Barba quickly realized politics is where you end a successful career, not start one and easily transitioned  into the media industry.

While working at EUE/Screen Gems, the largest film studio on the east coast, during the first dot com boom, Anthony assembled and led a team of programmers in developing a wireless platform on nights and weekends that later became North America’s largest wireless snow alert system called rubberSNOW. RubberSNOW.com is projected to break one million text messages in the 2007/2008 winter season.

Anthony ventured into real estate after his father, a successful real estate developer, passed away suddenly from brain cancer.  Overnight he was foreclosing on delinquent leasers, negotiating sales terms and marketing properties.  Taking a much-needed vacation, Anthony went skiing and his two worlds collided.  Eight months later he formed Ozone Communications and signed an exclusive partnership with Time Warner to launch an online mountain resort real estate portal for Ski and Skiing Magazine.

Most Recently Ozone Communications partnered with the Hamptons Independent, the largest circulated paper in the Hamptons region on the east end of Long Island, to launch a Hamptons Real Estate portal to complement their print.

Anthony was born and grew up on Long Island and now lives in Brooklyn’s Park Slope with his wife Beatrix.  He has run the 400m Hurdles in under 60 seconds and is training for the New York City Marathon.
